Review- Batiste Dry Shampoo

Every girl or woman has her bad hair days sometimes and it can really make you feel down so it's nice to know that you have a way of fixing at least one of the causes of one of these days.

Left: Coconut &exotic tropical. Right: Big & bouncy XXL volume.

From were I am from, Batiste are definitely the most popular brand of dry shampoo and I'm pretty sure it's the same for the rest of the UK. The product itself is a white powder that gets rid of grease and brushes out fully (so there's no need to worry about thinking that it looks like you've got terrible dandruff!)

Big & bouncy XXL volume. 200ml

This one almost does exactly what it says on the tin, it works fine as a dry shampoo but as far as the 'XXL' volume goes not so much. Yes it does give more volume than any of the other ones but I wouldn't call it 'extra extra large' and it doesn't last all day either. But it's still good. It is sold in Boots for £3.99  :)

Now this one DOES do exactly what it says! It smells like you've just washed your hair and looks it too! There's not much else I can say about it except it is also in Boots for £2.99 (I don't get why there's a whole £1 difference either. :P)

The whole range comes in two sizes, 200ml or 400ml, they used to do a tiny 'handbag size' one but I'm guessing it's been discontinued because it's not on the Boots website anymore but you can go and check the others out here. Overall these are great, not over priced as they last a very very long time and I would highly recommend them! :)

Review- Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner pen

As I had never tried liquid eyeliner before I thought purchasing a pen eyeliner first would be a safe option as they seemed to look easier to use than a normal liquid eyeliner. I chose Soap & Glory because I absolutely adore them and already owned another item from their make up collection.
I held it so you could get an idea of the size :)

The actual pen applies the liquid very evenly and well and the colour is amazing, I don't think I've ever seen an eyeliner so black! As for the result I was very surprised at how easy I found it to use, I thought I would have to use it a few times to get used to it but I didn't need to!
 Just upper lid.
Upper and lower lid.
I also found out it's really good for lower lid eyeliner because you can apply it thinly then blend it in slightly by patting it with your ring finger and it leaves a really nice look.

Overall this eyeliner is really easy to use, great value for money at £6 and (as always with Soap & Glory) the packaging is gorgeous, I will definitely be buying this again! :)
